Panda Journeys (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates panda-journeys.com (the “Site”). This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the Site you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
Panda Journeys is the international brand of 成都光大国际旅行社 (Chengdu Everbright International Travel Service Co., Ltd.) — a fully licensed Chinese travel agency. Travel licence L-SC-CJ00008 · Reg. 915101002019807384 · Founded 1987. Contact: [email protected].
2. Data we collect
- Contact data — name, email or WhatsApp number when you submit a form or message us on WhatsApp.
- Trip enquiry data — travel dates, group size, interests, dietary or accessibility needs you share with us.
- Attribution data — campaign, platform, content ID and first landing page, when those values are present in the link you used.
- Analytics — anonymised page views and conversion events via Cloudflare. No advertising profile.
3. How we use it
- To design and quote your trip, and to communicate with you about it.
- To send you the itinerary and follow-up — only if you have asked us to.
- To improve the Site. Analytics are read in aggregate, never to identify you.
- We never sell or rent your data, and never share it with third parties except the service providers listed below.
4. Cookies
We do not use advertising cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies. Campaign attribution may be stored in your browser so your enquiry can be connected to the platform and content that brought you here.
5. Third parties we use
- Cloudflare — hosting, encrypted enquiry storage, CDN and anonymised analytics.
- Cloudflare Email Service — sends enquiry notifications to our verified operating inbox.
- WhatsApp — only if you choose to message us there.
- Google Fonts — to render this Site.
Each of these has its own privacy practices; we encourage you to review them.
6. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / similar)
- Access — ask what we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct it.
- Erasure — ask us to delete it.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Portability — receive a copy in a common format.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
Email [email protected] — we reply within 30 days.
7. Retention
Enquiry data is kept while we are working with you on a trip, then archived or deleted within 12 months. Analytics are aggregated, with no personal IDs.
8. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to your enquiry data is restricted to the team handling your trip.
9. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We will post any update here and revise the “Last updated” date.
